Vanguard Initiative Smart Health pilot Kick-off event

The Vanguard Initiative new growth through Smart Specialisation is driven by a political commitment made by regions to use their Smart Specialisation strategy to boost new growth through bottom-up entrepreneurial innovation and industrial renewal in European priority areas.

The aim of the Smart Health pilot is to realise the potential of personalised medicine, while transforming the connected European industrial value chains. The partner regions already established solid ecosystems combining biomedical, technological and data driven expertise. By bringing these ecosystems, a higher added value will be reached to boost the implementation of personalised medicine; leading to an innovative approach for health and care in Europe.

During the kick-off event you will be introduced to the pilot, meet the coordinators, and participating regions. We welcome you to get to know the demo cases and invite you to join the pilot in its development in preparation for the I3 funding.
